Eunice was born in Oakland, Arkansas, the third of six children to Lee Roy and Della (Stafford) Newton.
She grew up in Arkansas and moved to the Yakima area in the early 1950's. Eunice worked hard to provide for her family and retired from Del Monte Cannery in 1996. As a mother and grandmother, family was the most important thing in her life. Her greatest joy was family get-togethers and cooking for everyone. Her legacy of biscuits and chocolate gravy will be passed down and remembered by all. Eunice welcomed family and friends into her home and was always there for those in need. Eunice enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting. She made special quilts for family that will be cherished.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings; four brothers, one sister, and her beloved son, Donnie Ray.
Eunice was survived by two daughters and their husbands, and one son and his wife, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
