Nelly Abbott, 82, of Park Hills, died Wednesday, June 17, at her home. She worked at Covington Chili for 38 years and was also a Home Health Aide.

Survivors include son, Marvin Callahan of Independence, Kentucky; daughters,Patricia Wilder of Covington, Kentucky, Dianna Fugate of Florence, Kentucky, Charlene Wallace of Covington, Kentucky, and Clyda Kissinger of Independence, Kentucky; brothers, Earl Payton of Hatfield, Indiana and Norman Payton of Ohio County, Kentucky; sisters, Willie Maud Cook of Evansville, Indiana, Betty Howard of Hatfield, Indiana, and Laurie Smith of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Abbott; son, William Dale Callahan; brothers, Stanley Payton, Charles Payton, Parvin Payton, and Marvin Payton; sister, Daisy Newton; and parents, Bill and Lela Wilson Payton.
