Hugh E. Aikman Dies Wednesday in Cleveland
Hugh E Aikman, who was born and raised in Granger and worked at the old butter and cheese factory years ago at Ghent, died Wednesday morning at Deaconess hospital in Cleveland. A patient there five days he had been in poor health for five weeks.
Eighty-one years of age, he left Granger about 40 years ago and worked for the Ohio Bell Telephone company unitl his retirement about 11 years ago. His home was at 3501 Broadview road Cleveland.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Busch funeral home, W. 25th street in Cleveland. Burial will be in the West Richfield cemetery.
He leaves a wife, Grace, two sons, Corless of Green Bay, Wis, and Harry of Cleveland, and a brother, N. M. Aikman of Granger
