He was born in Harrisburg, PA the son of the late Alfred Travitz and Eva Lower Travitz who survives him of Halifax. Tim had worked at Cut-Rite Onion and was a volunteer fire fighter. He was a member of First UM Church in Millersburg.
Surviving in addition to his mother Eva and step father Martin Sechler are his wife Carol, his 2 daughters Miranda & Danica Travitz, and 4 step-children Juan, Jennifer, Jessica and Bruce, his maternal grandparents John and Margaret Lower of Halifax and his paternal grandmother Dorothy Travitz of Millersburg.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday, September 17th from 10 to 11:00 am at the Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg. Services will begin at 11 am with burial to follow at County Line Cemetery in Dalmatia, PA. Donations can be sent to the funeral home at 118 S Market St. Millersburg, PA 17061.
