His funeral was held 2 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Great Falls Christian Center, with burial in Manchester Cemetery. Croxford Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Jack was born March 13, 1928, to Charles John (Chick) and Anna Lucy (Smith) Bloxham, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He worked in the auction ring as a young boy with his father. Working with livestock led to buying cattle, bucking horses and race horses, and he taught himself to be an auctioneer.
He competed in rodeos for many years. At one time he was a rodeo contractor with Bob Nordtome with Big Sky Rodeo. Jack also owned Bloxham Cattle Co. In January 2010 he was inducted in the Montana State Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame.
He was a member of the Elks Club, MLCC, PRCA and the Lakes Country Club in Palm Desert. He loved fly fishing, snow skiing,, and spending time with his family and friends.
Jack is survived by his wife, Billie Jean, of Great Falls; daughters Vickie (Spencer) Workman and Leslie (Allen) Stensrud, both of Great Falls; stepsons, Doug (Jody) Siderius and Dan Siderius, both of Kalispell; stepdaughters, LeAnn Siderius, of Kalispell, and Laurie (Kelly) Quinlan, of Hamilton, Montana; his sisters, Betty Anderson of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Jerry Rutledge of Wickenburg, Arizona; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Deborah Ann Thigpen; and his former wives Jackie Gardner Bloxham Good and Margaret Krier Bloxham.
