Eric passed away at home unexpectedly on Friday, December 21, 2012. Eric was born August 21, 1981 in Kalamazoo, MI to Ronald Beam and Ronda Lynn-Slocum Coffinger. He was a 2000 graduate of Lawrence High School where he hit the first home run out of their new ball park. Eric worked for nine years at the Coca Cola facility in Paw Paw and then went on to complete his certification as a Corrections Officer. He loved hunting, fishing and was an avid outdoors-man. He was also a huge U of M fan and loved the Detroit Tigers. More than anything in the world, he loved his daughters. They truly were his life, his pride and his joy. Surviving are his twin daughters, Kaidence and Paityn Beam; mother, Ronda (Randy) Coffinger; father, Ron (Kelly) Beam; sister, Amy Beam; step-brothers and sisters, Jordan and James Devine, PJ Chmiel, Heather Wyatt and Amber Carroll; grandmothers, Donna Beam and Judy Rasmussen; a very special aunt, Mary. Eric was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Glen Slocum and Clare Beam. Family will receive friends on Wednesday (12/26/12) from 5-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held on Thursday, 11:00 a.m., Pastor Glen Cowles officiating.

Interment will follow, Hill Cemetery, Lawrence. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses or dropped off at the PNC Bank branch in Paw Paw, MI for his daughter's college fund.
