Married Bertha Campbell 29 April 1916, Chicago, Ill. Parents of daughter Patricia Helen Antoine Ray 1921-1971 and son Herbert John Antoine, Jr 1923-1983

Herbert John Antoine Sr., 78 of 1002 South Third Street, died Saturday in a local hospital. Formerly of Kerrville, he had been a resident of Austin 18 years. He was a retired real estate broker and has been a member of B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 201, for 34 years.
Survivors include a son, Herbert John Antoine, Jr. of New York City; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Faucier and Mrs. Jody Cling, both of Mobile, Ala.; five brothers, T. H. Antoine, Angelo Antoine, Mat Antoine, all of Mobile, Ala., R. W. Antoine, Birmingham, Ala., and Dewey Antoine, San Pueblo, Calif.; one grandchild.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Wilk-Clay Funeral Home, conducted by A.A. Merback, past Exalted Ruler of B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 201.
Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kerrville. Services will be under the auspices of B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 2081, Kerrville.
