RITES MONDAY FOR HARRY C. COLLEY

Harry C. Colley passed away May 9, 1941 at his home on LeRoy Street after an illness of several months.

Mr. Colley was born in Rochester, England, July 23, 1866 and went to Canada in 1871. While living in Canada he was connected with the Shaw Tannery at Bracebridge, Ontario.

Coming to Boyne City in 1900, he was foreman for years in the Shaw Tannery here, now known as the Michigan Tanning & Extract Company. Later he took up lumbering and spent many years at that business.

Mrs. Colley preceded him in death seven years ago. He is survived by six sons and six daughters; Ed of Flint; Clifford of Petoskey; Alfred, Lyle, Norman and Percy of Boyne City; Mrs. Don Sanborn, Mrs. Martin Lindenborn, Mrs. Cliff Reberg of Flint; Mrs. W.R. Ransom of Ann Arbor; Mrs. Thomas Binder of Detroit; Mrs. Chris Andrews of Boyne City.

A short service was held at the home at 2:15 Monday for relative and close friends and at 2:30 funeral services here held at the Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Wyngarden in charge. Burial at Maple Lawn.

Those from out of town attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Colley and children; Mr. and Mrs. Don Sanborn and daughter, Elaine; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Lindenborn; Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Reberg, all of Flint; Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Ransom and son of Ann Arbor; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Binder and children of Detroit and Miss. Eva Andrews of Ann Arbor.

TEA TABLE TALK

Harry Colley of Boyne City passed away early this morning at his home at 601 Leroy Street. The funeral will take place Monday from the Boyne City Presbyterian Church at 2:30 PM with the Reverend John Wyngarden officiating.
