ALFRED COLLEY RITES HELD

Funeral services for Alfred H. Colley, 75, were held at 2 PM Saturday, October 8 from the Stackus Funeral Home. Reverend Duane Ferris officiated and interment was in Maple Lawn Cemetery.

He was born December 5, 1890 at Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada and died Wednesday, October 5, 1966. He was a World War I veteran.

Mr. Colley came to Boyne City in 1901 and worked for the Howe's Leather Company until 1940 when he went to work for the Boyne City railroad. He retired about 1950.

Surviving are one son, Roy, Boyne City; two brothers Percy and Lyle, Boyne City; five sisters, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Sanborn of Greenbush, Mrs. Chris (Ann) Andrews, of Boyne City, Mrs. Thomas (Fern) Binder, Detroit, Mrs. Martin (Rhoda) Lindenborn, of Alpena and Mrs. Cliff (Violet) Reberg, of Flint and two grandchildren.

ALFRED COLLEY RITES SATURDAY

Funeral service for Alfred H. Colley, 75, who died yesterday in Boyne City, will be at 2 PM Saturday from the Stackus Funeral Home. Reverend Duane Ferris will officiate and interment will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery.

He was born December 5, 1890 at Brace Bridge, Ontario, Canada. He came to Boyne City in 1901 and has lived there ever since.

Mr. Colley worked for the Michigan Tanning and Leather Company until 1940 when he went to work for the Boyne City Railroad. He retired about 1950.

Surviving are one son, Roy, Boyne City; two brothers Percy and Lyle, Boyne City; five sisters, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Sanborn of Greenbush, Mrs. Chris (Ann) Andrews, of Boyne City, Mrs. Thomas (Fern) Binder, Detroit, Mrs. Martin (Rhoda) Lindenborn, of Alpena and Mrs. Cliff (Violet) Reberg, of Flint and two grandchildren.
