|Death: ||Aug. 19, 1854|
John F. Buckley was born about 1808 in Ireland, perhaps in the Macroom area of Cork where the Buckleys and Warners were from. He was married about 1831 to Catherine Julia Wesley. They settled in East Boston in the 1830s, where John Buckley was a wheelwright, and they had 7 children. His son Daniel who was born 27 September 1839, may have been the first Irish American boy born in East Boston. John Buckley died of dysentery 19 August 1854, and is buried in Mrs. Buckly's grave.
His widow married Theodore Lyman Dolliver; she died 21 September 1872 and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
John F. Buckley may be Daniel Buckley's brother or a close relative since he is buried in their plot, but documentation to prove the relationship has not been found.
