Alma Rose Tucker was the daughter of William H and Bertha Tucker of Illinois and Missouri. She married Frederick Lee "Freddie" Eldridge, son of William Thomas "Willie" Eldridge and Mamie Lydia Hewett.

They had two children: (1) Frederick Lee "Freddie" Eldridge, Junior, born 1930 in Bastrop, Morehouse, Louisiana, United States; and (2) William Thomas "Willie" Eldridge, born 1936 in Bastrop, Morehouse, Louisiana, United States.
