Ingeborg Persdotter was born 25 March 1818 in Millmark, Östmark, Värmland, Sweden, to Per Hallstensson and Ingeborg Begtsdotter. She married Jöns Ivarsson and they had six children. Their oldest son Per Johanson emigrated to America. He sent for them and they emigrated in 1883 when Ingeborg was 65 years old.They lived in the Nora village outside Troy, Idaho. She was 80 when she died 3 August 1898 at Nora.
