Ruby Mae Badgett, 77, of Liverpool, died June 24, 1988, at home after a short illness. She was a member of Rockport Gull Gospel Church. Surviving: husband, Gerald R. Badgett; daughter, Diana Linn Miller of Kingstree, S. C.; brothers, Glen Kalt of Parkersburg, Gerald Kalt of North Carolina; four grandchildren. Graveside service was Saturday at Independence Church Cemetery, Sandyville, with the Rev. Everett Snyder officiating. Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of arrangements.
