Burrows, Linda J. (Van Der Slik) Modesto, CA formerly of Kalamazoo Passed away Saturday morning, February 7, 2015 in Turlock, California. Linda was born April 19, 1947 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Alvin and Krina (Linders) VanDerSlik. She was a 1965 graduate of Kalamazoo Christian High School and received her Registered Nursing degree from Providence Hospital in 1970. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Systems Administration from Ferris State University. Linda was an administrator and retired from Emanuel Medical Center in California. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Alvin Jr. Surviving are her daughters, LTC Amy Burrows, and Sara Burrows; her brothers, Ron (Betty) VanDerSlik, Allen (Denise) VanDerSlik, Rich (Karen) VanDerSlik, Stan (Connie) VanDerSlik, Loren VanDerSlik; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
