Mrs. Janssen worked as a nurse's aide at Blessing hospital in Quincy Illinois. In addition she worked at Golden Windmill and Stockyard Inn.
Pastimes included cooking, especially for family; card playing, making quilts, and gardening.
Mrs. Mildred V. Janssen passed away 31 March 2006 at a Golden Illinois nursing home. Her first husband predeceased her, 22 August 1964. Her second husband predeceased her on 1 August 2005.
A son Gene Aden and a sister Lila Golden preceded Mrs. Janssen as well.
Reverend Christopher Hale led funeral services held at Immanuel Lutheran church in Golden Illinois. Interment took place at Golden Memorial Gardens.
