Anna Lou was the daughter of James Washington Derrick and his wife, Annie Louraine Ogg.


FLEMING VAN BUREN DERRICK (1839-1891) - born in Alabama, he was a farmer and a Confederate States Soldier, died in Texas
SIDNEY TAYLOR MILLHOLLAND (DERRICK, KILGORE)(1843-1917) - was born in Missouri. She went to California with a 175 Wagon Train with her family, her father was the Wagon Captain. During the Civil War she tended her little daughters and cared for the farm while her husband was fighting in the Civil War. She died in Texas. (There is an article in the 3 Oct. 1927, Progressive Farmer, titled "Attention All Old Timers", which tells stories of Sidney Millholland).


JAMES OGG (1840-1912) - was born in Georgia. He was a farmer and Confederate States Soldier in Debray's Brigade. He was also a Constable for Grimes County, Texas.
ELIZA HEFLIN (1843-1901) - was born in Alabama and died in Texas. Eliza and her family were living in Texas when it was the Texas Republic. Her headstone inscription "She was a kind wife and a Christian mother"

Theresa Devaney - (1819-before 1842) Daughter of James Devaney and Bridget Light.

Levi Millholland (1819-1872) - Farmer and Captain of a Wagon Train of 175 wagons from Missouri to California.
Sarah Jane 'Sary' Lindley (1823-1859) - Daughter of Judge Jacob Marion Lindley and Alcey Ruth Gibson.

Simon Derrick (1771-1867) - He fought in the war of 1812 and was a son of the Republic of Texas.
Lydia Tipton (1789-1836) - Daughter of Sarah and Shadrack Tipton.

Johann Jacob Derrick (1752- ) - Historical marker in Jefferson Co., Tennessee marks early German Settlement, where he was one of first settlers.

Eva Margarethea Fox Derrick (1751- ) - Daughter of Johann Adam Fuchs and Catherine (Eilor?).

Simon Derrick (1718-1787) - Immigrated to America from Germany in 1738.

Catherine Margaretha Stapleton (1721-1796) - Daughter of Robert Stapleton (1690-1755) and Anna Maria Turkin (1695-1734).
