D'Lois "Dee" Shultz Carpenter,61, passed from this earth on April 29, 2003 at her home in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was born February 25, 1942 to Allen and Mary Ann "Annie" Woods Shultz south of Thalia, Texas. She married David Carpenter on December 23, 1961 in Thalia. Dee is survived by her husband, David of the home; one son, Rusty and wife, Audrey of Vernon, Texas and one daughter, Tammy Henderson of Wichita Falls; 3 grandchildren, Rob Henderson, Russell and Aubrey Carpenter; three sisters, Nan Sue Dockins of Mesquite and JoAnn Bader-Waldorf of Maryland and Mary Shive of Fort Worth, a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. D'Lois was a beautiful person with a gentle heart and a sweet personality. Anyone who ever knew her loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Shannon Renee Carpenter in 1971. Pallbearers were Dr. Larry Fellhauer, Willie Lacy, Larry Drennan, Joe Kirk, Tom Moore and Eugene Monkres.
