Margie Melvina Smith of Bethany, OK, died Monday, Nov, 18, 2002, at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK, She was 67 yrs. of age.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany. Interment was in Bethany Cemetery.
The daughter of John and Agnes [Clarkson] Woodruff, she was born Dec. 11, 1934, in Altoona, KS. She graduated from Altoona High School in 1953.
On Nov. 22, 1954 she married Robert Hallbauer in Neodesha, Ks. They later divorced. On April 7, 1982, she married Allen Smith of Bethany, OK. He survives at the home.
She was a homemaker and a health care provider for many years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Gary R. Hallbauer of Bethany, OK., Robert A. Hallbauer of Stillwater, OK, and Seven B.Hallbauer of Springdale, AR; three sisters, Ann Russell of Independence, KS, Mamie Erbe and Irma Violett, both of Neodesha Ks. two brothers, Joe H. Woodruff of Joplin, MO, and John W, Woodruff of Las Vegas, NV; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mable Williams.
