Inscription

"Du schiedest schnell. Im tiefsten Schmerz
Lässt du verwaist uns steh'n.
Nur ein Trost bleibt dem armen Herz:
Es giebt ein Wiedersehe'n!"

"You departed quickly. In deepest pain
You left us abandoned.
Only one consolation remains for the poor heart:
There will be a reunion!"
