"Joe" was born Aug 26, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY. When he was a young child, his family moved to Los Angeles where his father, James Joseph Murray, was involved in the fledgling movie industry. He married Norma Trunnell in Salt Lake City in 1941 and they were the parents of 3 children - Patricia Gail, Jean Ellyce and Scott Alexander Murray. He was a Mechanical/Consulting Engineer and was a former President of ASH&VE in San Francisco. His second wife was the former Verlene Schamp Perrone. They were the parents of one daughter, Shelley Jo Murray. He passed away suddenly in Oakland, CA at 52 years of age.
