Deborah Ann Beatty Adams Wellman, 61, of Avella, died at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born December 10, 1953, in Washington Hospital, a daughter of Walter and Patty Rhodes Beatty of Washington.

Ms. Wellman was a 1972 graduate of Trinity High School. She enjoyed camping in Erie and spending time with her family.

Ms. Wellman was a very caring person, who always cared for others before herself.

She enjoyed collecting Indian artifacts and loved going to bingo and sewing.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her fiancé, James Pinkerton of Avella; a daughter, Cary (Terry) Chapman of Wellsburg, W.Va.; a son, Ray (Lisa) Adams of Follansbee, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Perry Hamilton, Natasha Hamilton, Dustin Hamilton, Elizabeth Jackson, Allen Jackson, Noah Adams, Daniel Adams and Joshua Craft; three great-granddaughters, Isabella, Alli and Hannah Hamilton; two brothers, Walter Beatty and Jim (Hope) Beatty, both of Taylorstown; two sisters, Charlotte Beatty of Cecil Township and Lynn (Joe) Daniels of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a son, James "Jimmy" Adams.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., 18 Campbell Street, Avella, PA 15312, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 23, with Pastor Angel Adams officiating. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery, Avella.
