Ketura died of a common childhood ailment, something they now know how to treat easily. Her father was a doctor and a great one. It was horrible, watching this loss. My mother said Nana had an awful time allowing herself to become close to another little girl, even her, her granddaughter. I think my sister must have reminded my Nana of this long-lost toddler. She was a great favorite of hers, called her ' Toodle-oo ' and Sally made my great grandmother smile when no one else could. I suspect she probably provided a huge amount of comfort for her in her elderly years. It's nice to think about.

Originally buried in Columbia Cemetery, Boulder, CO. Removed to Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder, CO, on 15 Apr 1909.
