2ndLt William P. Finch (USMC) was serving with Weapons Company, 3d Battalion 1st Marines when he was killed in action on 2 March 1951 in Korea. Finch had also served in the Marine Corps during World War II as a radio operator with Landing Force Air Support Control Unit 3 (LFASCU 3) during the Battle of Okinawa.
