She was the daughter of Arthur and Stella (Roberts) Crowell. And was born in Kemptville.
She attended and was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church of Carleton. She was retired from working at Zellers Ltd. , Yarmouth.
Surviving her are her parents and her husband Thorpe; Four daughters, Janice, Joanne, Gail and Pamela; and four sons, Wayne, Edward, Christopher and Blair; Three brothers Calvin, Eldon, and Arthur; and two sisters, Vera and Shirley; and twelve grandchildren.
Waiting to greet her at Heaven’s Golden Gates, are two brothers Neil and Earl.
The body was taken to Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel of Yarmouth. A funeral was held on Tuesday in the New Testament Baptist Church of Carleton, the Rev. Dana Mersereau officiating , burial took place in the East Kemptville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Testament Baptist Academy of Carleton or any charity of your choice.
