Mary Ellen Albright, 87, Phoenix, Arizonia died Friday, January 12, 1996.
She was born April 11, 1908, Novelty, daughter of Dr. John Andrew and Molly Virginia (Byars) McWilliams. She and Wilbur Albright were married December 28, 1930. He died in 1941.
Mrs. Albright had taught school in Macon and Ottumwa, Iowa. She retired from teaching in 1973, in Ottumwa, and moved to Phoenix, Arizonia in 1975.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Chester, Frank, Ray, James, Finis and Joe McWilliams, and a niece, Jean Crane.
Surviving are her stepsons, Donald Albright, Fresno, California; a brother, Byars McWilliams, Marceline; a niece, Mary lou McWilliams, Phoenix, two nephews, William J. McWilliams, Shelbina and Tommy McWilliams, Gallatin; two step-grandchildren; nine great nephews and one great niece.
Services were held Wednesday, January 17, 1996 at Central United Methodist Church, Phoenix. Mrs. Albright was a member of this church.
Graveside services will be held at the Masonic Cemetery, Bucklin, this summer.
