She was born March 17, 1909, in Woodbine Township, Jo Davies County, the daughter of John Henry and Mary (Koehn) Cook. She married Donald W. Dittmar on Feb. 14, 1935, in Schapeville. He died April 21.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Ardith (Raymond) McCaslin of Steward; three grandchildren, Susan (Bill) Messer of Rochelle, Jane (Garry) Butler of Rochelle and Daniel (Christina) McCaslin of Macomb; six great-grandchildren, Brad Messer, Steven Messer, Jacob Messer, Chris Butler, Laura Butler and Laren McCaslin; and two sisters, Viola Koch of Woolford Heights, Calif., and Emma Perry of Cypress, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and one sister, Anita Steinberger.
Funeral services are Monday at 11 a.m. at Lyons Cluts-Simes Funeral Home with Rev. Garry Briesacher officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established to Faith Lutheran Church.
