Completed his earthly mission while at work in Vernal, Utah. Born in Richfield, Utah. The youngest of eight children born to Loyd Alan and Barbara Case Sharp. Married Elizabeth "Liz" Tomlinson August 30, 1980 in Bountiful, Utah. Marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Father of 10 and grandfather of eight. Family was always the most important things in his life. Nothing brought him more joy than nurturing, supporting and encouraging them to always do their best. Believed that example was the finest teacher.

Dependable and diligent worker holding various positions in the mining industry before becoming an owner of Centre Fire Trucking. Instilled strong work ethic in his children. Enjoyed Sunday dinners, family fishing and hunting, singing, coaching, 4-wheeling, barbecuing and living life to the fullest.

Survived by wife Liz and their children: Kristen (Jim) Smith, Patrick (Aileen), Ashley, David Aaron (Jennifer), Eric, Kimberly, McKenzie, Evan, Levi, and Wyatt; grandchildren Lizzy, Jimmy, Kaycee, Dalton, Coby, Cody, Aidyn, and Alexander; mother Barbara Case Sharp; brothers and sisters Bob, Ronald (Janice), Kelly (Jean), Steven (Deloa), William (Charmaine) and Roxanne (John) Abney. Predeceased by father Loyd Alan Sharp; sister Linda and dear friend Dale McClaren.

Services held Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the Ashley-Maeser Chapel in Vernal under the direction of Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
