Jack Muir Tenney of Santa Rosa, Ca. died Saturday, March 12, 2005 from complications of cancer. Jack was born in Oceanside, CA on April 10, 1936 to Jack R. and Clara Lines Tenney. He received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University and a master's degree in Public Administration from USC. The majority of Jack's professional career was spent as a general contractor in the Santa Rosa area. Jack is survived by his precious wife of 15 years, CoDele Tenney; 6 children, Nola Spicer of Roy, UT, Loralyn Hogewoning of LaMesa, CA, Rebecca Goodrich of Lindon, UT; Jacquelyn Abernathy of Santee, CA; Pamela Jarvis of Bountiful, UT, and R. Clark Tenney of Tokyo, Japan; 4 step-children, Janet Cook of Acampo, CA, Joleen Hughes of Calistoga, CA, Kevin Roos of Provo, UT, and Maryn Roos of Provo, UT; and many other relatives. He and CoDele have 34 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jacqueline Butchart and Faith Hartzog; and one daughter, Cherylyn Klvacek. Jack was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His love of life and the laughter, happiness, and service he brought to others will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 12:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1780 Yulupa Ave., Santa Rosa. Internment will be at the Bennett Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Perpetual Education Fund, LDS Foundation, 15 E. South Temple, 2nd Floor East, Salt Lake City, UT, 84150. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 15 6:00p.m - 8:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Avenue; and Wednesday, March 16, 10-11:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1780 Yulupa Avenue.
