Son of Crestino Aranda & Miltilde (Vigil) Aranda. Married Adelita "Della" Vigil in Colorado.
Aranda, Lee - Lee Aranda - Pueblo Chieftain - June 19, 1987 - Lee Aranda, 64, passed away June 18, 1987, at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital.
Mr. Aranda is survived by three children, Gallegos, Lee G. Aranda Jr., and Anthony L. (Tony) Aranda, all of Pueblo; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is survived also by three sisters, Ernestine Castro, Mary Romero, both of Walsenburg, and Nellie Jaquez of Belen, N.M.; two brothers, Chris Aranda of Alamosa and Frank Aranda of Trinidad.
Preceded in death by his wife, Adelita "Delia" Aranda, in 1984.
Mr. Aranda was born April 15, 1923, in New Mexico.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was later employed at CF&I until his retirement.
Mr. Aranda was a member of ABC Bowling Club and was a devoted fisherman and sports lover.
Visitation from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 20, and from p.m. Sunday at Funeral Home, recitation at 7 p.m. Sunday and Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday, both at St. Francis Church. Interment, Pieta, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
Family may be contacted at 1637 Acero. Family will receive friends at St. Francis Reception Hall following interment. Military honors will be performed by Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team at the gravesite.
