ANNAND, Edgar Stanley - 82, Middle Musquodobiot, died February 22, 1996, in Ocean View Manor, Eastern Passage. Born in Chaswood, he was a son of the late Morton and Ethel (Tays) Annand. He was owner/operator of Annand's Transfer for many years; later did carpentry work and worked for Nova Scotia Truckers Association. He was a member and trustee of Middleton United Church, Middle Musquodoboit; member of Craigmyle Lodge, Middle Musquodoboit; former chief and member of Middle Musquodoboit Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are his wife, the former Roberta (Bobby) Taylor; sons, Howard, Porters Lake; Carl, Musquodoboit; daughters, Sharon (Mrs. Norman Cox), Porters Lake; Arlene (Mrs. Karl Schmidt), Dartmouth; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, William, Chaswood; sisters, Alice Rogers, Musquodoboit; Bertha Grant, Amherst. He was predeceased by son, Keith; brothers, Elmer, Harold, Ira George in infancy; sisters, Laura, Merle, Ethel Jean in infancy. Memorial service 2 p.m. Sunday in Middleton United Church, Middle Musquodoboit, Emily Kierstead DM officiating. Burial in Wittenburg Cemetery. Family flowers only.
