Mrs. Eliza A. Brown, Aged Resident, Dead
Mrs. Eliza A. Brown, 90, of 300 North Lombard, died Sunday morning at her home after a two year illness. She has lived in the western suburbs most of her life, coming to this country from England with her parents, when she was two vears old.
Before coming to Austin and Oak Park, her parents were residents of Springfield. I11., at the time when Abraham Lincoln wasa legislator, and she retained memories of him as a neighbor. She had lived in Austin since 1881, and came to Oak Park 26 years ago.
She was the mother of Mrs. Pearl B. Newell, Miss Evelyn A. N. Brown and Irving G. Brown, all of Austin and Oak Park.
Services were held Tuesday afternoon with interment in Forest Home.
