Leslie Carl Kruse, 86, of Hampton, died at the Franklin General Hospital of Hampton.
Funeral services were held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton with Rev. Karl Bollhagen and Vicar David Lingar officiating.
Leslie was born in Hampton to Carl G. and Sophia (Schulz)Kruse. Leslie graduated from the Hampton Community High School.
He married Gertrude Grunder on February 25, 1951, in Wilton Junction. Leslie was a farmer and farmed in Motta Township all of his life. He was proud of the fact the family farm became a Century Farm in 1994.

He also served on the Chapin-Elevator Board, was a 4-H leader and active in the Purebred
Angus Association.
After Leslie retired from farming, he enjoyed his time continuing activities with family and friends, at church and at the Hampton Senior Center. Most recently he was a resident of the Hampton Health Care Center and made many friends while living there.
He enjoyed playing cards with his buddies and Friday afternoon bingo. The staff at the Hampton Health Care Center really made him feel like the special person he was.
