BARRON, LYLE H.; of Waterford; died September 26, 2008; at 84 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Beulah for 50 years and friend of Genevieve Schmidt; loving father of Steven (Laureen) Barron, Carol (Michael0 Stockwell and Marie (Ronald) Maxwell; dearest grandfather of 7; great grandfather of 10 with one on the way; also survived by his brother Clarence (Ann) Barron and sister-in-law Dorothy Barron, preceded in death by brothers Allen, Lester and Paul Barron and sister-in-law Phyllis Barron. Mr. Barron retired from Pontiac Truck and Bus in 1983 after 40 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII. He was a memeber of St. Trinity Lutheran Church where he sang in the choir for many years. In his free time he enjoyed going to various garage sales and playing his harmonica. Funeral Service will be Monday September 29, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Trinity Lutheran Church (7925 Sashabaw Rd., Clarkston) Paster James Krueger officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Rochester. Family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7-9 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford.
