VICTOR D. ALEXANDER, 70, of 1503 11th Ave., Rock Falls, died Wednesday at KSB Hospital in Dixon. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. at Rock Falls United Methodist Church with burial in Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation is Thursday (tonight) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Melvin-Schilling Funeral Home. The body will be moved to the church, Friday at 1:30 p.m. where friends may call until hour of service. A Memorial has been established.

He was born May 2, 1908 in Raritan, Ill., the son of Samuel and Elsie Alexander. He married Marietta Bonicamp on September 1, 1935 in St. Joseph, MO. He moved to Rock Falls in 1936 and was a member of the Rock Falls United Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, on son, Lauren of Sterling, one daughter, Mrs. Robin Hummel of Rock Falls, two step-daughters, Mrs. Duane Gibson of Louisville, Kentucky, and Mrs. Betty Gibson of Rockford, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers, Leon and Alva of Atchison, Kan., three sisters, Mrs. Cleo Wilson of Sterling, Mrs. Marie Jeffries of Cedar Rapid, Iowa and Mrs. Louella Hartley of Garden Grove, Calif.
