James Howard Erskine was born to Wayne and Marjorie Erskine October 4, 1960, In Newhall, California. He is survived by his wife Beverly Erskine, and his three step-sons, Brian Larkin and his wife Joni, Brandon Larkin, Shawn Gonzales and his wife Crystal, and several grand children. He is also survived by his brothers Chris Erskine and wife Rhoda, Bob Erskine and wife Carmen, Sister karen Jaramillo and husband Joe. Also many nieces and nephews.
Jimmy loved spending time with his family. He loved the river, fishing, spending more times than you could count on the Snake river with family and friends while the boys were growing up. The last nine years here on the Salmon river. He worked hard, played hard, and never knew a stranger. His laugh will be in our hearts forever. He had a heart as big as the world and was never afraid to shed a tear, or show his feelings. He loved music, He Taught Shawn how to play the guitar also. He would play for hours when he got started. He was very artistic as well. "Do it right the first time, or don't do it at all", was his motto. His life's work consisted of painting, carpentry, and drywall construction. He was awesome.
He was a very sensitive and caring man and will be missed by all those who's lives he touched.
