Maxine Anderson, 81, of Waupun, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at the Christian Home in Waupun. Lois Maxine Anderson was born on Aug. 1, 1922, in Burt, Iowa, the daughter of William and Sarah Jennings Dorsey. She graduated from Seneca Consolidated High School in Fenton, Iowa, in 1940. In August of 1940, she married Lorenz Nitz in Lakota, Iowa. Following their marriage, the couple resided in Iowa, and in 1951, they moved to Ladoga in Fond du Lac County, Wis. The couple farmed near Ladoga until 1962. In 1965, Lorenz preceded her in death. On Feb. 12, 1966, she married Raymond N. Anderson. The couple resided in Minnesota most of their married life, moving to Waupun in 1997. Raymond preceded her in death in 2001. Maxine is survived by three daughters, Barbara Brewer of Waupun, Mary Ellen Anderson of Barrington, IL., and Peggy (Todd) Fredrickson of Waupun; six grandchildren, Tracy and Tammy Brewer, Bobbi (Scott) Jazdzewski and Daniel, Tyler and Patrick Fredrickson; and two great-grandchildren, Willie Brewer and Bryton Schlick. She was preceded in death by her husbands; a great-grandson; six brothers; three sisters; and a son-in-law. Services: Memorial services for Maxine Anderson will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with the Rev. Wayne Hull officiating. Visitation: Friends and relatives of Maxine Anderson may call on the family from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. time of service on Monday, Aug. 2, 2004 at the funeral home.
