Birth: Feb. 17, 1868
Death: Jul. 18, 1942

Elizabeth, the eldest daughter of James W and Eveline Boston, was born near Warrensburg, MO., February 17, 1868 and departed this life at her home July 18, 1942 at the age of 74 years, 5 months, and 1 day. At the age of 17 she was made a member of the First Baptist church at Holden, Mo., and was a member of the First Baptist church of Medicine Lodge since 1910. She was united in marriage to Charles E. Adams, November 20, 1892. To this union two daughters were born, both dying in infancy. In 1901, Mr. and Mrs. Adams adopted their son, Ray at the age of 4. He has lived with and cared for them since that time. Mr. Adams died November 10, 1927. Mr. and Mrs. Adams moved from Holden, Mo., to Okeene, Okla., in 1899 and from there came to Medicine Lodge in 1910, where they have lived ever since. Mr. and Mrs. Adams were always good upright hard working people and had many friends in this community. Mrs. Adams is survived by her son, Ray. A sister, Birdie Coxy, Lyman, Colo., and three brothers, R.W. Boston and Thomas Boston of Canton, Okla., and Elmer Boston of Beaver, Okla., and a host of friends who will miss her presence.
