Darlene was the daughter of Robin & Ruth Fortenberry of the Cedar Hill community, Floyd County, TX. She died in a car accident at the main Cedar Hill intersection. Her headstone has a beautiful picture of her on it, that survived 4 or 5 decades completely intact, still in brilliant color, but finally got badly damaged by something thrown by a mower in the early 2000's.
