Audelia was the daughter of Bernardo and Pilar Chaves Gonzales. Her siblings are: Adelaida, Manuel, Estefanita, Feliz, Amalia, Lorenzo and Juana.
She was married to Climaco Gonzales and together they had five children; An un-named baby boy who died at the age of 1 year and 4 months, Carlos who passed away in 1918 of the Spanish Influenza, Onesimo who passed away at the age of three months, Beneranda and Adelina who also died at birth.
She was also preceded in death by her father; Bernardo Gonzales. Audelia lived all her life in St. John's and passed away at the age of 43 years.
