Daughter of John Oscar & Nora (Gilstad) Wallin. Graduated from Drummond High School. Worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant and ended her career in the education department at Employers Insurance of Wausau.

Her greatest joy was her love of family & friends. She maintained a keen interest in all things political while being an ardent fan of the Milwaukee Brewers. She even admitted to watching the Green Bay Packers. in her last years, she knitted many hundreds of household items which she gave to family, friends, and the hospice program. She maintained a great sense of humor and laughed easily and often.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Clay & Marvin; sisters, Irene & Berniece; a son Skip; and granddaughter, Shelley.

She is survived by her sons Gary of Seattle, and Tony (Beth Ann) of Rhinelander; grandson Ethan of Seattle; sisters, Betty Hall of Wausau, & Bev Lee of Ashland; and many dear nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Also, survivors include many hospice volunteers, especially Shirley Kruppe (and family) who was like a sister to her.
