Clyde Austin

KILGORE - Services for Clyde Austin, 86, of Kilgore, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Mount Pleasant CME Church in Kilgore, with the Rev. Travis Stinson officiating.

Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery under direction of Cunningham Funeral Home. Mr. Austin died February 20, 2011 in Kilgore.

Born January 27, 1925, in Clarksville, he attended Cheatman High School and Texas College and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Clora Austin; children, Clyde Austin Jr., Mae Cook, Georgia King and Willie Wilborn; and sister: Hattie Hicks. No formal wake will be held. Public viewing will be 1-8:30 p.m.
