Nancy Jane Diehl, 88, of Marysville, passed away Sunday, July 17th, 2011 at Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg.
Mrs. Diehl was born in Duncannon, PA on May 16, 1923, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Eleanor J. (Hetrick) Graff.
She retired from the Personnel Office at the former Dauphin Deposit Bank, Harrisburg. She also worked as a buyer at the former Bowman's Department Store, Harrisburg and was a licensed cosmetologist.
A member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Marysville.
Nancy was the former chairperson of the Civil Service Board for Marysville Borough; Past President of the American Business Womens Association and was active in Girl Scouting.
The widow of Eugene W. Diehl.
Surviving are her Daughter Karen L. wife of Thomas P. Gaidos of Marysville; beloved grandson Joshua Gaidos, a brother Charles E. Graff of Stevens, PA; seven nieces and two nephews also several great nieces and a great nephew.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2011 in the Wesley United Methodist Church, Marysville, with Pastor James O. Parker officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday in the church.
Burial will be in Stone Church Cemetery, Enola.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church, 450 Sylvan Street, Marysville, PA 17053.
