Charles R. Albert, 75, of Zephyrhills, Fla. and Wind Gap, Pa., passed away Sunday evening, January 15, 2006 in his home in Zephyrhills. He was born September 13, 1930 in East Stroudsburg, Pa., a son of Russell R. Albert and Emma (Metzgar) Albert. He was a carpenter in the construction industry for many years and was an Army veteran. He was a member of Hope United Church of Christ, Wind Gap and Wind Gap American Legion. He enjoyed his neighbors at the Waters Edge R.V. Resort.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret E. Albert; two brothers, Leon Albert and Richard Blake, both of East Stroudsburg; many nieces, nephews; close friends.
Services: memorial, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4 in Hope United Church of Christ, Cherry Street, Wind Gap. There will be no calling hours. burial will be private in Wind Gap Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 202 West St., Wind Gap.
