Mr. James Stafford Ballou age 85, of Kannapolis, NC died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at his home. Mr. Ballou was born September 21, 1928 in Ashe County to Elmer and Bertha Austin Ballou. Mr. Ballou was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Zell Ballou.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Reed-McMillan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to1:30 pm Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Badger Funeral Home.

Mr. Ballou is survived by: One son, one daughter, one sister, two grandsons, two great-grandchildren.
