BROTHER OF FLOYD BEATY IS DEAD OF APPENDICITIS
Funeral services for the late Virgil L. Beaty of Auburn, were conducted Wednesday at the Church of God in that city and burial was made in Roselawn.
Virgil, who was eighteen years of age, died Monday after a brief illness with appendicitis. He was operated upon at the Souder hospital in Auburn and was apparently improving when he suddenly became much worse and died.
The youth was one of a family of ten children and he was born at Fountain, Mich. He had resided in Auburn for the last two years with his sister, Mrs. Mary Carper, and was employed by the Baltimore & Ohio as a section hand.
Surviving are the parents and eight brothers and sisters, as follows: Charles and Ethel Beaty of Auburn Junction, Floyd Beaty of Garrett, Forrest Beaty, Mrs. Joy Hilkert and Mrs. Mary Carper of Auburn, and Mrs. Olive Homes and Mrs. Gladys Frazier of Alma, Mich.
