c. Jerry Earl Mangrum (JEM), his chilren: Amanda, Stephanie and Jerry Earl IV.
Jerry was born on October 4th, 1929 in Harlingen, Texas to Alice Nantz and Jerry Earl Mangrum Sr.
He attended school in Harlingen, Tx and helped his father farm. He served in WWII.
He worked in the oil field business from 1956 to 1966 then moved to Bells, TX where
he owned and operated Bells Exxon until 1976.
Jerry was elected Constable of Precinct 3 of Grayson County in 1976 and continued to be
reelected until he retired on December 31, 1996.
He was widowed in 1979 and married Martha Hartwig hash on june 28, 1980. They lived
in Whitewright where they raised Tennessee walking horses. They were members of the OKLA
Equestrian Trail Riders As. and Texoma Trail Riders As.
