Jeffrey G. Blakeley, 15, of Lewiston, died of complications from muscular dystrophy Tuesday at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.
He was born to Lida Blakeley Feb. 20, 1978, at Lewiston.
He has lived at Lewiston all of his life, and attended Tammany Elementary School through the sixth grade. Since that time he has received private tutoring at his home.
He enjoyed movies, television, playing video games, the outdoors, wild animals and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his mother; his stepfather, David Smith; a brother, Charles Blakeley of Lewiston; a sister, Betsy Blakeley of Lewiston; grandparents Charles and Jean Wood of Lewiston, and Woodrow Blakeley, of Lewiston, and Carol Blakeley of Olympia.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Malcom's Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel in Lewiston, with the Rev. Tim Palmer of Southern Baptist Church in Lewiston officiating. Burial will follow at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens in Lewiston.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, E. 112 First Ave. Suite 2, Spokane, Wash. 99202.
