Harold Duncan Davis was the youngest of Oscar Jefferson Davis' sons. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and as a teenager, he kept his father's books. After college, he joined the American Express Company in New York, where he eventually served as their Vice President. He traveled the world over and I remember that he always brought us mechanical toys from Hong Kong and other places. My favorite was a 12" high pig wearing a chef's hat and apron that held a frying pan that flipped eggs. He retired three times, having been pulled from retirement to help "fix the company" when required. During his retirement years, he lived in Miami, FL with his wife, Margaret McDevitt Davis. As an ailing widower, he moved into the household of Gordon Lee Davis in Hagerstown, MD, where he later died and was buried here in the family plot with his parents, Oscar Jefferson and Mary Amelia Davis.
