SNYDER DIES HERE

PASSES away Following Long Ill-
ness: Leaves Family

Charles A. Snyder, 52, passed
away this morning after a linger-
ing illness. He had been suffer-
ing from illness for a long time
and recently relatives from the
east arrived to visit him, hearing
of the severity of his condition.
He is survived by his widow,
Celia, and eight children, Edward,
Bertha, Mary, Hazel, Elda, Char-
les, Celia and Rose of Sandpoint,
three brothers: Will of Niles,
Mich., Dave of South Bend, Ind.,
and Dan of St. Joseph, Mo.
Snyder was born in Terre
Haute, Ind., on August 17, 1878,
later moving west. He has lived
in Sandpoint for five years.

FUNERAL HELD FROM MOON CHAPEL
THIS AFTERNOON

Funeral services were held for
Charles A. Snyder from the Moon
chapel this afternoon with Rev.
J. Fred Stillwell officiating, Inter-
ment was made in Pinecrest cem-
etery.
Snyder died Wednesday after
a lingering illness.
He is survived by his widow,
Celia and by eight children, all
of Sandpoint, and three brothers
Will, of Niles, Mich., Dave, of
South Bend, Ind., and Dan, of
St. Joseph, Mo.
Dan Snyder visited the family
during the last sickness of Mr.
Snyder, leaving for his home a
week ago.

Word of the death of Charles
A. Snyder, 52, who ran Raum's
ferry some ten years ago, was re-
ceived this week in a press notice
from Sand Point, Idaho, his former
home. A lingering illness caused
his death Nov. 19. He is survived
by his widow and eight children.
He has lived in Sand Point for the
past five years.
