Dorothy R. Abrams of Redmond died at her home on Sunday. She was 82. At her request there will be no funeral services. The body will be cremated and her ashes scattered on her son's property on Maui Hawaii. Mrs. Abrams was born near Battle Ground, Wash., to William A. and Mary (Baker) Roark. She attended a one-room school at Bee Tree for three years. She transferred to the Battle Ground schools and graduated from high school in 1932. On Aug. 20, 1937 she married Bert Abrams (Abrahamson) in Vancouver, Wash. She worked in the Kaiser Shipyards during World War II as a field office clerk.
